Sunflower Copper Queen

Copper Queen is a single-stem, pollenless variety of sunflower with golden yellow petals with a mahogany center. Blooms are 4 - 5” in diameter. Serves as an excellent field grown cut flower or as a dramatic garden addition.

Direct seeding after the last frost is recommended as root disturbance can be harmful to seedlings. Sow seeds 1” deep. Seeds can be started indoors 2-3 weeks before the last frost to achieve early first blooms. Succession sow plants every 1 - 2 weeks to stagger bloom time.
