Delft Blue Nigella, inspired by the renowned Dutch Delft blue pottery, features distinct 1½–2 inch flowers. The petals exhibit a stunning mix of blue and gray shades, with intricate deep-purple centers adding to their charm. This plant also produces unique seed pods that are perfect for both fresh and dried arrangements.
Sowing Outdoors: RECOMMENDED. 2 to 4 weeks before your average last frost date. For continual bloom, sow every 2 to 4 weeks after initial sowing until midsummer. Also sow in early fall for very early spring bloom.
When to Start Inside: Not recommended; seedlings are sensitive to transplant disturbance.
