Creeping Zinnia (Sanvitalia procumbens) is an easy to care for annual that grows in a trailing habit with bright yellow, daisy-like flowers. Creeping Zinnia belongs to a different plant genus than common cut-flower type zinnias but is named after the shape of the leaves which resemble zinnia leaves. Due to its trailing growth habit, it is perfect as a spiller in containers or as a ground cover.
Direct sowing seeds is recommended 1-2 weeks before last frost. Surface sow seeds as light is needed for germination and keep soil moist. Seedlings do not transplant well.
Plant type: annual
Light: Sun

Multiple orders of a single item may be combined into 1 seed envelope unless otherwise instructed by buyer. We take great care to provide high-quality seeds, corms, and bulbs, all of which are tested for acceptable germination rates. However, because successful growth depends on various factors beyond our control—such as planting conditions, weather, and care—we cannot offer refunds for seeds, corms, or bulbs that do not germinate or sprout.
Thank you for your understanding and support. If you have any questions about planting or care, we’re happy to help!
