Aster Valkyrie Brunhilde Chamois flowers are captivating blooms with a unique blend of pale pink and apricot hues. Their needle-like petals give them a delicate, almost sea anemone-like appearance, adding an intriguing texture to their overall form. These asters are known for their large blooms, often reaching up to an impressive 5.5 inches across, making them a standout in any garden. Despite their delicate look, they are surprisingly durable and long-lasting, both in the garden and when used in cut flower arrangements. Their late summer blooms and striking beauty make them a favorite among gardeners and florists alike, extending the color and interest into the fall.

NOTE: The current seed lot contains 5–8% off-types which produce single blooms and color variation (white and pink).

Transplant (recommended) - Sow 1/8" deep into 72-cell flats or preferred seedling container, 6-8 weeks before last frost. Heat and reduced daylength initiate flowering. Establish plantings early to avoid short stems.

Direct seed - After your last frost date and when soil temperature is 65-70°F (18-21°C). Provide support. Row cover or insect netting helps prevent the spread of Aster Yellows Virus by leafhoppers. Pinching not required.
