Aster Tower Violet is a striking variety of China aster (Callistephus chinensis) known for its tall, sturdy stems and large, fully double violet blooms. These flowers have a pom-pom-like appearance, making them a favorite for cut flower arrangements and garden borders. Blooming from mid to late summer, they attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies, adding vibrancy to any landscape. They thrive in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade and require regular watering to maintain their lush blooms. With their rich color and elegant form, Aster ‘Tower Violet’ is a stunning choice for gardeners seeking a bold and long-lasting floral display.
Transplant (recommended) - Sow 1/8" deep into 72-cell flats or preferred seedling container, 6-8 weeks before last frost. Heat and reduced daylength initiate flowering. Establish plantings early to avoid short stems.
Direct seed - After your last frost date and when soil temperature is 65-70°F (18-21°C). Provide support. Row cover or insect netting helps prevent the spread of Aster Yellows Virus by leafhoppers. Pinching not required.

However, because successful growth depends on various factors beyond our control—such as planting conditions, weather, and care—we cannot offer refunds for seeds, corms, or bulbs that do not germinate or sprout.
Thank you for your understanding and support. If you have any questions about planting or care, we’re happy to help!
