Aster Tower Silver is a beautiful variety of China aster (Callistephus chinensis) known for its tall growth and large, fully double blooms in a soft, silvery-lavender hue. These elegant flowers have a lush, chrysanthemum-like appearance, making them an excellent choice for cut flower arrangements and garden displays. Blooming in late summer to early fall, they attract beneficial pollinators such as bees and butterflies, enhancing biodiversity in the garden. They thrive in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade and require consistent watering for optimal growth. With their delicate color and impressive form, Aster ‘Tower Silver’ adds a touch of sophistication and charm to any floral setting.

Transplant (recommended) - Sow 1/8" deep into 72-cell flats or preferred seedling container, 6-8 weeks before last frost. Heat and reduced daylength initiate flowering. Establish plantings early to avoid short stems.

Direct seed - After your last frost date and when soil temperature is 65-70°F (18-21°C). Provide support. Row cover or insect netting helps prevent the spread of Aster Yellows Virus by leafhoppers. Pinching not required.
