Amaranth Red Spike

Slender wine-red flower plumes grow upright with bushy, green-burgundy foliage. This amaranth stays a bit shorter, averaging 2-3 feet high. Great as a cut or dried flower.

Sow inside 4-6 weeks before the last frost or direct sow after the last frost. Sow thinly, barely covering seeds. Succession sow 3-4 times about 3 weeks apart to get continuous blooms.
