Agrostemma Purple Queen (also known as corn cockle) has light purple speckled blooms on long graceful stems with silvery-gray foliage. The plants are a cool flower, preferring the cool temperatures of spring. The blooms are delicate 1-2" wide.

Plant Height: 24–36"
Latin Name: Agrostemma githago

Sowing: Direct seed (recommended) - As soon as the soil can be worked. Sow 1/8" deep. Thin to stand 6-9" apart when first true leaves appear. Transplant - Sow 4-5 weeks before last frost. Sow at 2-3 week intervals until midsummer for continuous bloom. Performs best in cool weather.

Multiple orders of a single item may be combined into 1 seed envelope unless otherwise instructed by buyer. We take great care to provide high-quality seeds, corms, and bulbs, all of which are tested for acceptable germination rates. However, because successful growth depends on various factors beyond our control—such as planting conditions, weather, and care—we cannot offer refunds for seeds, corms, or bulbs that do not germinate or sprout.

Thank you for your understanding and support. If you have any questions about planting or care, we’re happy to help!
