Azalea type blooms are optimal for cut flowers. The beautiful purple flowers emit a pleasant scent and are long lasting in the garden or in a vase (7-10 day vase life). Start seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost. Light is required for germination. Transplant into the garden once the weather is warm enough. Pinching encourages branching and a fuller plant. Snapdragons should be harvested once the bottom 2-3 flowers have opened.
