Poppy Hungarian Blue Breadseed

Bread seed poppies have a delicate crepe-like flower that are graceful addition to the late spring garden. The edible breadseed poppy produces dazzling purple petals that give way to large seed-filled pods. This annual often times self seeds in warmer climates.

Direct sow in late fall, or in spring as soon as soil can be worked. Surface sow, just barely covering. Grows best in cool, early spring conditions in rich soil, with moderate moisture.We take great care to provide high-quality seeds, corms, and bulbs, all of which are tested for acceptable germination rates.
